Swim among impressive Beluga’s and take home the world’s first and only organic caviar

Andalusia is a wonderful territory that surprises and dazzles at every step. Inside, it hides many secrets, which make each visit an extraordinary experience. 

On the border between the Andalusian provinces of Malaga and Granada, hidden to the uninitiated, lies the tiny village of Riofrio. Between its white houses runs the river of the same name carrying the freshest and purest waters from the nearby mountain springs. 

It is in this small village where 25 years ago a daring entrepreneur decided to build a row of natural pools to be dedicated to the breeding of sturgeon. Honoring local customs, the humble ponds were built by hand, following the natural mountain slopes to create unevenness. Thus, between the adjacent basins, small natural waterfalls were created to lull the visitor and oxygenate the water inhabited by plants and fish.

And it is here that 14 varieties of sturgeon, from the Mediterranean Nacarii to the Russian Beluga, have found a home where they can live in peace, far from the elements that threaten their survival as a species. 

It is in this place where you can discover this prehistoric animal, the oldest of all fish, observe it, touch it and if you wish, taste the delicacy of the czars; the roe of its females, caviar.

PALATINUM Caviar Experience

You will visit the facilities of the only organic caviar producer in the world, and enjoy a dive in the natural water ponds with adult sturgeons (we will provide the appropriate clothing for this).

Afterwards you will enjoy a technical tasting of caviar of each of the four varieties, you will also try the innovative Caviar Dice and the “Alma de Caviar”, all paired to perfection with exquisite champagne, local vintage sherry, tequila and vodka. 

Then, depending on the season, you may opt to harvest your own caviar. We will send it to your home address so you can enjoy it with friends and family. If you accompany the tasting with photos of the experience, you will relive it every time you open a jar of your own caviar!
