Torami is a rebellious and individualistic wine that was first vinified in 2003 and takes its name from a place name at the Lamborghini estate.
It was born from the desire to experiment with a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon to obtain a captivating and enveloping wine.
The vineyards from which it originates are located in the area of Lake Trasimeno, in Umbria.
Maceration lasts twenty days in contact with the skins, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel barrels for the same number of days. The wine is then transferred to wood, in French oak barrels for ten months, while ageing in the bottle lasts another six months.
Intense ruby red in colour, it has a generous bouquet that starts with a touch of blackberry jam and then develops into eucalyptus and licorice.
Very balanced tannins and long finish.
Perfect in combination with game, especially wild boar.
