Fortuna Terrae, Latin for fortune of the earth, refers to the “lucky” vines in this small parcel of Adrianna Vineyard. The deep clay soils in this area support a large number of native grasses that prevent erosion, attracting beneficial insects, songbirds and mountain foxes. Due to the freshness imparted by the soils and altitude, Fortuna Terrae wines have excellent acidity and delicate floral aromas.
