Mas La Plana was born in 1970 as the fruit of the first harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon, a noble variety grown since 1966 on the estate of the same name, located in Pacs del Penedès. There, in a small vineyard of 29 hectares, the most select Cabernet Sauvignon Varieties: are grown, giving life to Torres’s most prestigious red wine, recognized worldwide and of very limited production. The 1970 vintage triumphed at the Paris Wine Olympics over the most famous wines in the world. This victory has been endorsed in recent Vintage:s with numerous international awards.
